No Easy Way to the Big City

On one hand, thanks Henry for keeping the word wild in our wilderness, but on the other hand, you made a 55 mile trip, a 90 mile one. Ohhh, what I'd give to be able to get to Marquette "as the crow flies". See link here to get the story of the road Henry Ford bought

It's a beautiful drive as a tourist, but I bet you grow weary of it. :-)

It's like that here too. Every where you want to go, you have to either fly, or drive the long way around.

I always loved the UP.

Hello Jane,

I see I am way behind in my visits to you. Sorry!! vbg How was your road trip to Marquette.. Was you on a shopping spree?? Hope you had a great time. I am reading a very different book at the moment called "Burning Bright" by a British Author. I am enjoying it allot. Hugs Judy

It's amazing what enough money can accomplish! its not always a good thing but sometimes it turns out well.
as a former librarian I understand the NEED for books, books and more books!) they are the old friends you go to for solace and the new adventures waiting to behold. movies are fun but nothing beats the theater of the mind!
lovely greens BTW in the courthouse steps quilt!
